10 Things...I Accomplished
10 Things I Accomplished During My Self Inflicted Internet Hiatus
1. Cleaned my office. I mean really, really cleaned my office. It felt good to throw a lot of crap in the trash.
2. Re-Organized my office. LOVE IT!!! The only thing I didn't do was move the furniture around. I probably would have if I could do it by myself.
3. Cleaned out and reorganized the kid's art cabinet. This had been a disaster that was making me crazy. I LOVE having it organized again.
4. Gave in a hired an accountant. Yeah yeah I like to do things myself. BUT... I don't enjoy doing taxes and various business filings. I kept doing these out of keeping control. I realized it just doesn't make $ense for me to waste time on this and the income vs. expense trade off is too upsidedown for me to spend time on accounting crap. Control reliquished ----- It feels good!!!
5. Cleaned out and organized the drawers in my bathroom vanity. Again AWESOME!
6. Spent some time watching Hoarders. It probably provoked all of the cleaning and organization projects.
7. Worked --- A LOT. I have been working on a huge project and probably put in 70 (yes; seven-zero) hours last week alone. Many of my Hoarder episodes were watched between the hours of midnight and 4 am while I was working...
8. Took care of a kid that came down with a viral infection and broke out in head-to-toe hives. Katherine missed two days of school plus was sick all weekend. She spent lots of time sitting in oatmeal baths to help with the itching.
9. Helped Katherine build her school Diorama project. She did the most of the work I just helped her with the stippling and painted a building in the background. Oh I also burned my fingers multiple times while helping her glue on cotton balls.
10. Failed miserably at a new recipe I tried out. I was super excited to try a new potato casserole recipe I found. It looked SO good. It tasted AWFUL and NO ONE would eat it. It is so frustrating to make something and be left so disappointed especially when it smells amazing. :(
BONUS ROUND:
11. Hosted Katherine's birthday party. We had a indoor swim party which the kids loved. Hayley even jumped off the diving board.
So there you have it. I actually did get on the internet a bit from my phone to read the news and goof around a little. I gained back SO many hours trying to be more aware of my time which was really nice. Now I just need to keep up with the habit....

Wasting Time
I am enforcing a one week hiatus on myself from any and all Internet activity. The only exception is to pay bills.
Lately I feel like I waste a lot of time reading the news, Pinterest, etc. I wonder how much time I will actually get back and what I will use it for...
So I will leave you with this until next Monday. Gawd I love these girls.

Great Lizard Rescue
The cold weather is chasing the Anoles into our house. We rescued this one right before Jasper tried to eat him. I had to wipe thick coat of dog slobber off the little guy's back. Hopefully sticking him back outside doesn't kill him...

Top 10 Reasons...I Don't have time
Top 10 reasons why I don't have time today to think of a witty top 10 post.
1. Mike has been hounding me to get new tires put on my car. I have been waiting until I really got "full" use out of the current ones. I saw this last night. Yep I have worn the rubber completely off and the threading is starting to show. It freaked me out a bit. So I am going to buy tires today.
2. I have a client who has swamped me with a big project. This is awesome but leaves no free time to play blogger.
3. Jasper decided to eat his cone yesterday. Does he not remember this is how we got in this condition to start with? I need to take him to the vet today and have his staples removed before his starts picking at them.

4. My heater under my desk died yesterday. While I am running around town I might as well stop at WalMart and get a new one so my tootsies are nice and toasty.
5. I need printer ink too. I used mine printing Katherine's birthday invitations. I don't need my printer to die while I am wrapping up this project soooo....Electronics aisle at WalMart here I come.
6. My brain is tired. Witty and tired brain just don't work well together.
Soooo that wraps my Top 10 6 for the week.
In other exciting news...I am dying to see The Vow tomorrow night. Mike and the kids are going to watch another movie at the theater while I seeing this one. Channing Tatum yummy.....

Dog or Human???
Kelsey is in heat again. This time around we are trying out Lil' Swimmers. She looks pretty fancy and is very good about letting me put them on her.
Last night I found her sleeping on the couch still chillin' in her Nemo fashion wear. What cracks me up is how the Lil' Swimmers fit her when she is lying upside down.
I swear that this dog is a human soul that has been reincarnated in canine form.
